ytd: 4-2 (+1.9)

1 unit....cavaliers (+11) over detroit

taking my 2nd shot on the cavaliers this year. was successful the first time and plan on this one hitting as well. for whatever reason, the cavs played the pistons very tough last year. pistons were obviously laying chalk in all 4 meetings, but the cavs lost those 4 games by a COMBINED 13 points (1,5,2,5) and two of those meetings went to overtime. cavs could have easily won both meetings in detroit, but being the perennial losers that they are, they choked away opportunities. obviously roster turnover in the nba affects some capping angles, but this is one elite team (and perhaps the only elite team) the cavs know they can hang with. pistons will be focused coming off of the sixers loss the other night, but this line is a little too high imo. cavs road woes have contributed to a bit of an inflated number.

yep. doesnt look like theyll break the losing streak on the road until MAYBE 10/20 in chicago. denver and the clippers are winnable games, but cavs suck out west.

heres hoping they hang within 10 tonight, which they should do w/o a problem

cavs blow a winnable game against the pistons once again. probably shouldnt complain, since they cashed +11 with ease, but brutal to watch this team self destruct late in games last year and this year.

updated: 5-2 ytd (+2.9 units)
