Lakers have shown they can blow the Nets away if they want. . . can't see them losing their focus again. . . should be a nice double digit win for the defending champs even though I'd love to see the Nets take this one.

I think the Nets learned their lesson about coming out soft and one thing I learned from the second half of Game One, DO NOT underestimate what Jason Kidd can do in the open floor. I just wish he and Van Horn could heat up at the same time. Kidd can draw three defenders and kick for the three, but it doesnt seem to be helping them much yet.

The only problem was they waited to long to kick it into gear. I just dont see Byron Scott making the same mistake twice. I look for for Kidd Kittles and K-Mart to step up huge tonight.

Phil,
While I agree with your write-up as far as the Nets learning a lesson, I don't think it will matter too much tonight. The Nets don't have a guy who is willing to step up amidst a team cold spell and knock down a 3 with confidence. They rush there perimeter shots all too oftenespecially when a defender runs out at them. Van Horn barely gets off the ground on half his shots because he is rushing. And why doesn't K-Mart take a few more top of the circle jumpers, they leave him open enogh out there. He may not be the best shooter on the team but his percentage wouldn't be any worse than Kittles' or Van Horn's.
I have to go with Ray on this one and say the Lakers will relive the first 17 minutes of Game 1 only it will be for the whole game unless one of the shooters on the Nets show some poise (and I am not talking about JKidd!).

I agree with you on one thing, they need someone to step up and be willing to take the big 3 when they need someone too.

Wish I could lend them Paul Pierce for this series...

Lakers will lose this one...take the under!!!

Lakers will lose this one...take the under!!!

I believe defense will step up on the Nets and Nets will be driving in the paint. Foul trouble on Shaq early. Shaq out sitting due to foul trouble will make the Nets capitalize.

the Nets will do whatever it takes to go in and get fouled.

Nets and the under...

goodluck to all..
