St Peters -3.5 over Manhattan *****
Two teams that can't score..can't shoot FT's,FG%,etc...Jaspers lost their best player Beamon who could be out for the year..Peter is that scrappy team that pressures the ball and contests the shot. They play with 4 gds and Raymonds is 6'3 and their top rebounder.Conley is 6'6 and hasn't done anything this yr.But Washington and Ffrench are solid on top..Peter will get in trouble playing a big front line.MC has 6'7 Brown who could give them trouble tonite. But Alvardo is the good gd that controls the tempo..He is listed as doubtful tonite..If he is out the Jaspers are in big trouble..he handles the ball 75% of the time...Peters gds will be attacking from the get go..Even with Alvardo they could be in trouble.Alvardo is a NYC kid with a good handle...but think the relentless pressure will get to the Jaspers. One thing is for sure..this game will not be close if history tells us anything..23,26,9,15,30 and 26...those are the score differences in their last 6 games...
Peter 55-Manhattan 44 or Peter 66-50...if I get an Alvardo update will post...

Iona -11.5 over Siena **
Iona is loaded..they rank 8th in the country on offense, one of the top 3 pt shooting teams.Lamont Jones is a big time player.Armond can shoot 3's from anywhere...and their new player Laurey is on fire...in 4 games he has 13,21,20 and 21..great pick up....Siena can't score. They are like Manhattan. Rank almost last in the country in scoring avg 58 pts. A 38FG% and a FT% of 60%.They do have Anosike who almost leads the nation in rebounds.Brookins can score and Hymes is inconsistent...their are a lot of problems in Siena...Siena has covered 6 of the last 8 games vs Iona but the Saints have never had a team like this...Iona's problem is playing D...they avg 80 and give up 80...small play because I think Siena can't score 80...and I know Iona can...

Rider +7.5 over Loy Md **
Small play.Rider has some gds that could score and keep this close.Lindsey has been off but think in MAAC play he awakens..Cormeir and Olsen are solid gds..Ethery is back and scoring...Greyhounds have no 3 pt shooters but will control the paint..think broncos can keep this close..

Mississippi -19 over Fordham **
Rams could be in trouble 2nite...more matchup problems. Reb Henderson is tearing apart every one.Juco POY...Avg 18 pts..but its the 2 inside players Holloway and Buckner that will cause the Rams problems..these guys are big,strong,athletic...Gaston is back but he is not a bruiser inside..kind of a finess scorer. Canty is ok at 6'9 but these guys can't play any defense...just see Miss to quick and athletic..Rams can't win on the rd..Miss hasn't been a 19 pt favorite so that scares me somewhat...but think Rebs blow them away anyway...
yest went 4-5

feel bad for Masiello. great chance this team could be 9-3 instead of 3-9 if Beamon wasnt missing so much time with injury.

Massiello is a good coach..players like him...but w/o Beamon he is hurting..Beamon was the preseason MAAC POY....if Alvardo is out tonite Jaspers are in big trouble..they need to feed Brown the ball on every play...GL
