Carolina signs Goalie Jamie Storr from L.A.

Travis Green gets claimed off waivers from Columbus and then traded to Boston for a 6th rd. pick.

They will be using them as trade bait as their needs arise during the season. Hurme and Dafoe is a nice 1-2 punch for the Thrashers.

Coyotes lost Todd Simpson in the waiver draft. It hurts the 'Yotes defense as they don't have any depth let alone any vest and will be starting the year with 4 guys under the age of 24 on D.
