no worries
no worries
its all good ...
let's keep the good vibes going folks ...
blanton actually had his best performance of the year vs. the marlins back in late may
7 shutout innings only giving up 5 hits and striking out 11
the marlins were very impatient in that game
keep in mind this is only a double play so I would not bet the house on it
i am a big believer in the law of averages
yes, blanton has been very hot as of late but I would not put him in the group of dominant pitchers just yet
also, nick johnson is really going to help make a difference
he has a .500 average vs. blanton in a limited 10 ab's
i expect it to be a high scoring game but I'm not taking the over 9
i expect the marlins to score 4 about 50 percent of the time in this matchup
they should get 1,2, or 3 runs about 20 percent of the time
and based on my analysis they should get 5 or more runs about 30 percent of the time
so with that said
a play on the over 4 for a double is justified as I feel this play will only lose 20 percent of the time in this situation
whew!
