Villanova -6 over DePaul (bought the hook)Loss

Nervous a little about this one....Villanova giving only 6pts to a team that just lost to St. John's. Seems like something is fishy. That's why I didn't hit it that hard. Besides the fact that Meija was 3-14 against the Johnnies..anyone have an idea of why only 6pts. Even if Villanova isn't the same team...still seems fishy.

Any thoughts on this???

thanks for the input.

A 3 team 8pt teaser:
Gonzaga -12.5
New Mexico State -13
Nevada -20

Nova line is now 7 so it's climbing...not sure whether that's good or bad...

UNLV +7 @ Air force Win

UNLV defense is very underrated. They get after you and pressure the ball. Hopefully it will bother the passer and get Airforce out of their rythm jump shots and force them to shoot of the dribble a bit. I hope UNLV doesn't just sit in zone to protect against back doors. These guys can pressure Air Force enough to bother them. UNLV on national television..Usually good things happen. I love Air Force and really enjoy watching them play. I just think UNLV can D them up a bit.

i think youre mindfu.cking yourself in terms of how youre interpreting this line.
depaul is one of the best teams in the big east.
a definite 'second tier' team in what i believe is a 4-tier conference.
so they lost to st.johns.
well villanova lost to drexel as a huge chalk.
those things happen. youre not gonna be at your best all season. depaul has been steamrolling teams since their maui trip. they just slipped up against the red storm. line looks about right. figured nova (-4.5) or (-5) but (-6) is pretty reasonable too. if you like the wildcats, play 'em. too many good cappers talk themselves out of plays because they overanalyze. nova is slightly better than depaul and playing at home. fire away if you feel thats the way to go.

Thanks Gman

You could be right. I've watched DePaul play and liked them. I'm going to stick with Nova at 6. Good luck to you.

Adding:

Georgia State Pk First Half Loss
Michigan/Northwestern under 54 first half Loss
UNLV +4 First half Loss
West Virginia -6.5 first half Win
Hofstra -7 first half Win

G. State....at home..in the south against Towson. G State plays hard and I think they come out strong

Hoping Northwestern controls tempo here. They are tough on the defensive end and Michigan will have trouble scoring. Only worry is that Northwestern hits their 3's.

UNLV...Feel that their ball pressure will upset timing especially in the First half.

West Virginia...St. John's hopefully will have a let down and settle for 3's against the 1-3-1.

Hofstra...Pecora hates Delaware. Old America East rivalry. He will want to bury them early if he can. At home he can..on the road I wouldn't think so.

Good luck,
Craig

Ohio State +2 (bought the hook)Win
Michigan under 117 Win

Ohio State..usually stay away from Marquee games and teams...lines are usually right on. I just think Ohio State is better. Small play for me.

Michigan...hopefully Northwestern keeps a small lead and controls tempo the whole game. I'll hopefully have a chance to buy some at half time and possible chance for a middle..who knows.

After watching the Johnnie's a few times this year I just don't know how they beat Depaul and I can't see them even staying close to West Virginia.

Adding:

Nova -7 2nd half Loss
Illionois -3.5 second half Loss..missed my middle

Nova...better free throws I think wins this game and cover from the line...scared of a last second 3 from depaul to ruin the cover

Illinois...I have Ohio stat +1.5 for the game...chance for a middle with Illinois at home. Small bet here..don't want to ruin the Ohio state bet.

good luck

LM in a tough spot. Gonzaga has something to prove. Usually LM holds tough..but not this time...too much Gonzaga fire power today.

lost the under fh of michigan in the last 2 minutes and finished by a fadeaway contested 18 foot jumper to put it over with no time on the clock...Michigan picked up tempo and trapped defensively...that may continue..if so I'm screwed for the game...either quick baskets for NW or turnover transition hoops for michigan...Not sure what to do...may just let the under 117 ride.

nevada -27 double
Nevada -15 fhalf double
arizona -2
arizona -1 fhalf

I'm biting on arizona...we'll see. Nevada covers easy in my opinion. Not going to be home for the 2nd half so it worries me a little.

Uconn/LSU under 70.5 second half.

this number may rise....if it does...I may hit it again. LSU is going to slow this down.
