Hey Hoops,

Do you think by gametime that UNC-Wilmington could be the dog in this game? I would think Joe Pub would back the home dog w/ a better record. UNC-Wilmington appears to be one of those hot and cold teams, at least from the early going. At times, they look solid, like when they beat Minny and at times, not so good, like last time out vs. Charleston. They lost a nice HT lead and ended up losing the game at home. Under .500 in their pre-conf schedule is not what they expected. You must think that Old Dominion is a little overrated and that Wilmington gets it together in their conference opener? Just trying to pick your brain a little. Thanks for all you do. Follow your picks religiously.

Nickel- Highly doubtful they will be the dog by gametime. ODU has the better record, but NC-Wilm has played a much more difficult non-conference schedule and has performed well against quality opponents...especially on the road. Got smoked at Ohio St, lost at Radford, but a 1pt loss at Wake Forest, 1pt loss at Bowling Green, beat Miami OH, and won at Minnesota..that's not bad at all in my book.
