• CUBS 7-3 in last 10 overall, 12-4 in Game two after a win, 5-1 at home vs LH starter, 10-4 on Fridays, 21-10 when facing a team with losing record, 32-19 after a win, and they are 16-4 in last 20 home games.
• CWS are 3-6 in their last nine overall, 5-11 in Game 2 of series after a loss, 4-9 on Fridays, 9-23 vs teams with winning record, and 18-27 after a loss.
• HP UMP Danley is 12-6 HT and 7-10 O/U, but his games average 9.00 rpg.
  
  There are tons of strong trends favoring the UNDER in this game, but I'm not listing them due to the fact I like the game OVER. CUBS are killing LH pitching, batting .367 in their last 10, and .311 overall at home vs LH. I think the WS blew their best chance at a win yesterday with WELLS on the mound, and now must face WOOD, LIEBER, TAPANI. CUBS have shown they are a streaky team and come back well in 2nd game after a win, whereas the SOX do NOT rebound well after a Game 1 loss. WOOD got roughed up on the road in last start VS DET, but I see him coming back strong today and leading the CUBS to a 7-2 win!

Rander, You nailed the score exact . . . 7 - 2 . . . just on the wrong side. I went with the Cubs too and split with the over since I played the run line and layed the same money on both plays.

Figures... what a freaky FRIDAY the CUBS had, sheesh!! 10 walks and 2 HBP. The HP UMP was generous on the outside for the LH, but not for the CUBS, that's for sure. Gonna go down 4.8 Units to start after one game...

Toronto at PHIL

PHILLIES have been tough at home recently and always support DAAL well. I like them to bounce back here behind their ACE and even up this series.

YANKS got bombed last nite, but they may have been tired as many were in SEATTLE for the ALL STAR game. I look for a rested NYY team to bounce back behind the LH LILLY and even up this series.

Sabathia has been throwing well, and DESSENS has been decent. With an UNDER UMP by HP, taking this game to stay under the generous 10 SPOT.

Kansas City at PITT

8 of last 10 games between these two have gone OVER, OVER is 5-1 in Durbin's last six starts and I don't see it changing tonite. RITCHIE is pitching well, but I think he's due for an off game, but it won't matter against KC.

Minnesota at MILWAUKEE

Going with the UNDER HP UMP and the normally dependable RADKE. I was considering taking the TWINS on RUNLINE, but am leary after the HR barrage last nite. Instead, I'm hoping their bats are tired and they and the UMP keep this low scoring.

Los Angeles at OAKLAND

Gonna ride the A's and their young gun staff and hope for another low scoring win. HUDSON has been hot as anyone, and PARK is not the same pitcher outside of Chavez Ravine. Look for PARK to give up a few tonite, possibly a couple dingers and OAK to roll to a 4-1 win. I think HUDSON will make a statement start tonite for being passed over for the ALL STAR game. He threw a gem in his last one after the selections came out.

Arizona at ANAHEIM

Gotta have a dog in the mix, and I see none better than a hot ANAHEIM team at home against a struggling Zona squad. VALDES is no Schilling, but he'll keep his team in the game, giving up maybe 2-3 runs. One GLAUS dinger, and we're in business. As good as Schilling has been, he's prone to the long ball and the ANGELS have got a few that can go deep on him, Glaus, Anderson, Erstad... so I'll ride the "homer" HALOS and hope for a dog day finish to another FREAKY FRIDAY THE 13th.
