I haven't had the necessary time to cap these games properly. Let's start with the Detroit game. I know Harden hasn't lasted more than 5 innings in a long time. I also know Detroit has a limited number of solid lefty hitters to face Harden. Line movement on this game has me a bit puzzled. Rogers threw a gem @ home vs. NYY in the ALDS... he's also won 7 consecutive decisions vs. Oakland. A's have their backs against the wall in must win mode. Does anyone know if Zumaya can pitch today? I see he's listed as questionable.

Taking Detroit -130 for 10*... I can actually see the Tigers getting the sweep. Going with my gut which tells me Detroit gets another win today.

Prediction: Tigers 5 A's 3

We'll have to see what happens. I know a healthy Harden is very tough, but he's not healthy and should be rusty IMO. It's too bad Zumaya can't pitch, but I'm hoping Rogers can give Detroit 7 innings and limit the A's offense.

Adding St. Louis -120 for 10*... Carpenter is the best pitcher for St. Louis and this is a must win for the Cardinals. Maine is decent, but he's not in Carpenter's league.

Prediction: Cardinals 5 Mets 2

A's 2nd half (-135) for 3*... Probably not the wisest investment as Oakland only has 2 hits. However, I get an extra at bat & +3 runs so going to try for a middle.

Rogers is pitching pretty damn awesome this post season. Detroit backers have to like the way Rogers is pitching in the twilight of his career.

Adding St. Louis 1st 5 innings (-128) for 2.5*... Carpenter has never lost a post season game and I think Maine is going to get hit a little bit. Cards lead 3-1 after 5 innings and win 5-2.

Wow! Talk about the wrong time for a terrible game Carpenter? You freaking mush! Already 4 earned runs through 2 innings. Series is over if the Cards lose tonight. Mets will win series in 5 games. Cardinals and A's should have a series to play for 3rd place, it would end a draw somehow.
