Cubs-Braves O/U is O.T.B as of this morning. Waiting for the weather? Weather channel has game time forecast as upper 40s, rain, and NW winds at 13pmh?

Is that "in" or "out" at Wrigley?

I am thinking over in this game as well. I think w/ Prior pitching and the weather might cause the number to be set low, and then most of the action will come in on the Under, so I go Over.

Maybe Prior comes out a bit nervous/fired up and he walks one or two and the Braves pick up a cheap one in the 1st or 2nd?

Thoughts?

correct me if I'm wrong, but if the winds are out of the NW then it would be blowing in from left field.

Tough call, but I'll tell you, I'd rather have a power pitcher as opposed to Maddux's finesse style in what looks to be a crummy night.

johnny, are you sure of that? I thought SW was straight out to center, and NW would be a cross wind from left to right.

cubs lock and roll;) 7%

give prior credit for being one of the most dominant pitchers in the national league. he came down the stretch like a freight train winning 10 of his last 11 decisions and the fans will be in a frenzy at wrigley;)

would somebody please drag there azz down to Murphy's Bleachers...lick there thumb and stick it up in the air, then we will know the wind direction for sure!

I've heard that the wind will be blowing straight out to start and once the front moves through it will switch to coming out of the NW.

I think it's an under game, to cold to be a scorefest.
