In the midst of a career year (16-5, 3.09 ERA, Carl Pavano has been
simply amazing (10-1, 3.31 ERA in 98 innings) on the road and the
Marlins are 12-2, +$1025 in his 14 road starts. Pavano is 7-1 since
the All-Star break including winning his last two starts. Chicago
is 23-25 (-$1740) at home against righthanders while the redhot
Marlins (seven wins in eight games) are 11-3 in the day (+$835)
against righties averaging 6.2 RPG.
