Yale @ Princeton

Well Yale currently sits in the lead and in position to win their first Ivy League title since the 1960's. They play Princeton and Penn this weekend on the road then go home to face Harvard and Dartmouth two games they should win. Their best chance to get a win this weekend is at Princeton who just is not the same team they used to be, they are 3-4 ATS at home and only 4-5 ATS against the Ivy league while Yale has been very impressive going a perfect 7-0 ATS on the road and a very solid 8-2 ATS against their league. Yale holds a very strong rebounding edge here and are the better defensive team believe it or not and are heads and tales the better offensive team. Princeton had their turn at the top but it is time to step aside and give up that dominance. With one win this weekend and 2 wins in their last 2 games at home will have the Yale Bulldogs sitting at 12-2 and an Ivy League title I think they will win outright but will take the 4 points just for insurance! Here are a few trends to support our play!

Play Against - Home favorites (PRINCETON) - after 2 straight games making 50% of their 3 point shots or better.
(77-46 ATS) (62.6%, +26.4 units. Rating = 1 stars)

Among Libtards!!
thanks...

thanks...

for the information....although I haven't posted anything on this game, I feel that you are right on target with this one. I feel that Yale is just plain and simple the better team here and that the public perception of princeton is the reason this line is, at least in my eyes, high... this isn't the same princeton team of years gone by....gonna wait to play it for sure until I hear what superbook has to say, but right now, I'm sold on Yale +4. good luck.

i too like yale in this game. a split this weekend really puts them in the driver's seat in the ivy race with much easier home games next weekend. you gotta believe that this is the game they would focus on as winning in the palestra will be a tall order. also going to stay on penn tonight. i've been playing on the quakers since after they lost @ yale, even sucking it up and laying the 22 last weekend. assuming both yale and penn win tonight, i would look for a good opportunity to play penn again tomorrow night. huge nature of that game will hopefully keep the line down enough to make penn a really strong play.

As I mentioned in Robert's thread last night, I'm in agreement with Yale.

Given the public perception of Princeton as the better Ivy team, there might be the opportunity to pick up more points if you wait to make your play closer to gametime.

Outstanding write up and feedback.

Thanks for the recommendaton, Irish. Playing Yale pus the points myself. Seems to be clear case of the public still thinking Princeton is a strong program -- and hasn't caught onto Yale yet.

ok ok ok

ok ok ok

I hate to bust up this Yale Party but I have to go the other way on this one. I have been hot and normally don't post my picks just responses and information that is usually from the inside. I think Yale is going to take a Huge pounding tonight playing on Princeton home turf. In the even match ups in the Ivy home team usually WINS. I will lay the chalk to YALE and hope you guys put enough on it to drive the line down2 or 2.5 would be nice. :moon: SORRY but I had to post my opinion.

Hey that is what we are here for to compare views! but as for the home team being stronger in the Ivy Yale is 7-0 ATs on the road and 8-2 agains the Ivy League while Princeton is 3-4 ATS at home and 4-5 ATS agains the Ivy not real strong argument for the home team !

Nolan, LOL! this is one of those games where everyone but 1 person is on a side and 2 1/2 hours AFTER the game is over, we ALL wished we were that 1 person :D

hopefully that will NOT be the case here (nothing personal STOCKJOCK!) TOM

As you can see by my posts I am new to the board and I value all of the work that you guys put into your picks. I have been following you guys and I can tell be the records who actually has pride in there picks. superbook, raymond, robert, nolan, hoops fletch, antonio jmizeus etc. etc. etc.... I hate to play against you guys but I wouldn't respect myself in the morning when princeton wins by 14 and I went the other way. I am standing by my pick and putting my money where my mouth is. Although I want to win I still wish all good luck tonight but 1 last thing to say to yale:thefinger :moon:

5.5 is all the chalk I will lay on this game although I think it is a double digit win, I have a bad feeling about going with the masses. If my book has 5.5 or more it is a no bet for me.
