wvu/pitt under (41) 1 unit. i've been riding wvu unders, no reason to stop now. their last 3 road games haven't gone over 34 points, and all 4 have gone under.

alabama (-4) 3 units. this is the first good team auburn has played on the road all year (miss st has improved, but they haven't beaten a ranked team this year). auburn is a one-person team with no defense. they basically have michael vick at qb, and how many big games did he win in college? auburn has played 3 teams in the top 30 in the country in scoring defense. they scored 17 at miss st (#24), 27 against clemson (#9), and 24 against lsu (#8). so they are scoring 50 points/game against everybody else, and 23/game against the top 30. 'bama is #3. and miss st, lsu, and clemson all have fairly anemic offenses (none are ranked in the top 50 in the country in scoring offense). alabama's offense is #20 in the country in scoring.
think about this line, too. don't you think they would have had plenty of action on auburn at +3? seems a little higher than it needs to be, unless they want everybody on auburn.
one more factor to consider - the home team has covered 3 straight and 5 of the last 6 in the iron bowl.

arizona st (-12.5) 1 unit. another line that seems unnecessarily high. two 4-6 teams limping to the finish line, with their archrival next week. ucla has shown a lot of quit this season, especially on the road. after winning at texas (that win doesn't look nearly as impressive now), they have lost their 3 conference road games by 28, 47, and 17, failing to cover all three.

nebraska (-16.5) 1 unit. hard to lay this many points with a team that scored 6 last week, isn't it? but colorado has been terrible on the road, losing by 45, 26, 33, and blowing a 200-point lead in the 4th quarter at kansas. KANSAS!

southern miss (+3.5) 1 unit. is this one a little too easy? both teams are 8-3 and have high-scoring offenses (#11 and #17 in the country). and their scoring defensive numbers are very similar, but look at the huge discrepancy in total yards. southern miss is #31 in the country while tulsa is #105. since their season-opening beatdown at south carolina, southern miss has won 4 straight road games.
