didnt think id play anything today but after sitting down and really looking at things, this one jumps out quite a bit.
Washington State +2.5/ML
points or ML, I think Wazzu wins straight up tonight.
Kansas State is built like a team I love to go against in what figures to be a close game.
1st of all they rely very heavily on just 1 player. If he has an off night or gets rattled, that hurts them so much more than a balanced team.
and 2nd and most importantly, this team is TERRIBLE from the free throw line. shooting 53.2% as a team. thats good enough for 343rd in the country....out of 345.
Duke solved Pullen, holding him to 4 points, and won easily. While Wazzu is no Duke, they play tough defense and will be ready at home.
Last year Pullen hurt them from the line, but was just 4 for 11 from the field. Clemente was the one who put a big hurt on Wazzu, with 5 triples. Hes gone, and so to is Sutton. Outside of Pullen, Clemente, and Sutton in last years game, nobody had more than 6 points for the Wildcats.
While I do think KState is a good team and is a huge step up from the challenge Wazzu has face thus far, the Wildcats team is a recipe for disaster, especially on the road, with how much they rely on 1 player and how poorly they shoot free throws.
