I'm feeling locked in. I laid off Creighton/Drake because I felt that it would be right about 10-14 point game, and sure enough it landed on the 12. Furman is looking good. I went something like 9-2 on 2nd halves last night. This is the time. Teams bring it every night, so it is easier to cap, IMO.
Disclosure... I like both Illinois St and North Texas more than I probably should.
Illy St is now +1. As anyone who has been around these boards know, I have had a mini obsession with the Redbirds. They have the talent and the explosiveness to win the MVC. That Carmichael karate kick vs Wichita really changed things. Now they can right the ship. Will they come to play? I don't see why not. They have double revenge going. ALthough the Panthers have won both meetings, teams that can push it well can give them fits. This line came out at a pick when UNI should be favored by 4. I think ISU win comfortably. 78-69.
NT -2 Another double revenge situation here as NT got blown out by 30 in their last meeting. NT has been a huge disappointment, but they do have Chris Jones coming back. With him and Mitchell, they def have the guns to win this easily and even challenge MTSU. They can be tough out, and will be. This line should have been UL -2. NT 81-69.
