in 11 meetings Jackets have held Oilers to less than 3 goals only twice.:eek:

Dubber- Buff looks good tonight BUT....

1. lot of guys banged up I would try to get status update before making a play.

2. These type of games at the end of the year are a crap shoot to me- both teams out of it-who will be up for this game?

I think Buff is the right side but not worthy of a huge play IMO-

Thanks, Chenks. Mont is on a downward spiral, but Buf has had some impressive performances lately. I like the fact that they have home ice and the cheap price. Will play the Sens, also, but don't see much else I like.:shrug:

The Sabres could have a huge "welcome back" party at tonight's game. Center Adam Mair (foot), left wing Taylor Pyatt (concussion) and defensemen Jay McKee (knee) and Dmitri Kalinin (shoulder) all practiced Thursday and are available to play. Coach Lindy Ruff said he will talk with them today to ensure they still feel all right before he makes any roster moves.

Center Tim Connolly has played in 282 consecutive games, but that streak may end tonight because of flu-like symptoms. He didn't practice Thursday.

"I'm very doubtful that he's going to play," Ruff said. "He seems to be getting worse instead of better."

As of Thursday afternoon, 3,000 seats remained for the Sabres' third-to-last home game of the season.

With Kotalik Out, Three Expected to Rejoin Sabres

BUFFALO, N.Y. (March 28) -- Forward Ales Kotalik is out of the Buffalo Sabres' lineup with flu-like symptoms.

Coach Lindy Ruff said Kotalik could miss Buffalo's upcoming two-game road trip, which starts Saturday in Carolina.

Kotalik is second among rookies with 19 goals and is third on the team with 32 points.

Meanwhile, Adam Mair, Jay McKee and Taylor Pyatt are expected to play Friday night against Montreal.

McKee missed 20 games with a sprained right knee, Pyatt missed the last four games with concussion symptoms, and Mair missed the last three with a bruised right foot.

To make room for the players, Buffalo assigned forward Chris Taylor to Rochester. He had one goal in six games.
