2-4 This Week

Has been either "Feast"(2-0 on Wednesday) or "Famine"(0-4 on Thursday) for me so far this week. Tonight's selections are:

Southern California ML(+160)-Best Bet
UNDER 52(Southern California@Oregon State)

The Beavers CAN NOT run so the Trojans need only too contain Oregon State's passing attack. USC has just the right "Cover Guys" to get the job done in my opinion. If USC can muster-up just a little bit of offensive I believe that will be enough too get the "W" in Corvallis tonight. Hopefully the Trojans "D" will throw in a score as well. My Guess:

Southern California 24
Oregon State 13

Best of Luck MadJackers!!! :0008

I pretty much follow your posts to a tee but I think Oregon State wins by 10 tonight.

Well, my trusty Spreadsheet agrees with ya, DT. It does pick USC, but not a "Strong" pick at all.

Tellya, IF it picked Ore. State, I would be on it. Questionable QB for USC and even if their first stringer does play, State has a HUGE edge in the passing game. USC has too many injured players whether they play or not, I was not impressed when watching two of their games earlier this year but I gotta admit that they had some good games since then. Like the way State just gobbled up CAL and WSU and they held a tough Stanford team to only 20 pts. in last week's game. Look at the last two games for USC.

Hmmm... now, I'm starting to talk myself into playing them Beavers. But that's a :nono: Having that Sheet on your side, DT, is a good thing. :)

Thanks Jimbo!!! Not a huge play on the Trojans tonight but it's the only game on the board so I have too bet something. :D Looking @ tomorrow's card & I see a couple of REALLY STRONG plays. Will post them in the AM. Good Luck!!! :0008

Kudos to DT and, of course, my good, ole, trusty Spreadsheet. And a little to me for knowing enough to NOT play against it.

Just a couple of comments on that USC/Beavers game....

That sure as hell didn't look like the USC team I watched play earlier this season.

Didn't realize that the field goal kicker for Ore. St. puts on two left shoes.

And that "Monsoon" (whatever the name is of that Beaver QB) fella? Yes. he does throw an accurate pass, but late in the 3rd quarter when things were starting to look critical for Ore. St., he made an absolute knucklehead pass to his receiver that was sandwiched between two defenders. You couldn't get the ball to that receiver if you put a helicopter over his head and dropped it. OF COURSE the dang thang was intercepted. Not a biggie mistake since that's only one play but surely enough to get his ass off the list of Heisman contenders. Ore. St was just picking up some momentum when he made that mistake. Sheesh!

Now, you know why I spent 1 1/2 seasons to setup, test, and tweak the Spreadsheet I use to help me figure these games out.
