Pedro has been starting out rocky in some of his outings this season, and the Royals brought up Rudy Stein of the All-City league. A great stat-man for the Bears, and favorite of their sponsor, Chico's Bail Bonds, Rudy has been known to stand in there and "take one for the team".
Coach Buttermaker of the Bears states, "He has never really pitched, and I'm not sure if he can, but he's lanky.....Whatever the hell that means!"
His unpredictability will give the struggling Royals the boost they need to stay in the game. The question is, will the offense rally around the youngster?
Tune in tomorrow, as the Mets bring up Sid Finch to teach those clueless bastards how to pitch! (Rumor has it that he can still bring the heat at 114 mph!)
