GLTA!!!!!!!!

Guys I need your help on figuring how many UNITS I'm up here....Any help would be appreciated.....my first 7 games were all for 1 unit apiece in which I went 3-4.........last night I went 3-2 with the WINS being 5 unit, 4 unit and 1 unit plays...the LOSS' were a 1 unit and 3 unit......Thanks for any help on this...If anymore info is needed please let me know.

It all depends on the moneyline of your games

EX:
If you bet the Mets yesterday and they were a -200 FAV.. Let say that was your 3 UNIT loss then your total loos for that game would be -6.00 UNITS..

Next lets say you bet the Reds +120 as your 5 Unit Play.. Your total gain would be +6.00 units

You will need to go back and get the Money line of each of your bets before you can total them up..

Kevin -- what's is your confusion about figuring out these units:

TEXAS +115 5* Winner

CINCINNATI +120 4* Winner

MONTREAL +105 1* Loser

SAN FRAN +105 1* Winner

MINNESOTA -105 3* Loser


Assuming you risked 1 unit to win whatever then:

1.15 x 5 = 5.75
1.20 x 4 = 4.80
1.05 x 1 = 1.05

Won 11.6 units

100/1.05 x 3 = 2.85
1.00

Lost 3.85

Thursday: +7.75 units

SF/LA UNDER 8 KBrown great ground ball pitcher......

CLEVELAND ML +100 I Love CC Sabathia....Appier old school...

TEXAS ML +160 I like the price...bats will wake...

These are my first bets that went 0-4...all for 1 unit but I dont know how to find what the line was for these games....

Cleveland -105
San Diego +120
SF -110

= +3.20 units

kmac, as line can vary between books (not to mention locals), you'll have to figure out what your lines were on tuesday in order to calculate your units.... hope that this helps. :D

I might be wrong but it doesn't look like you're being consistent in your dogs vs favs:

ie

Texas risk 100 to win 115

Minnesota risk 105 to win 100


When calculating favs shouldn't it be:

Minnesota risk 100 to win 95 (100 divided by 105)

Do you see how to figure the Units now?? All you do is put a decimal into the money line and on the FAV's it's just 1 UNIT for 1 UNIT on the winners...

superbook.. If he is betting 1 UNIT on a FAV, I always consider the fact that I am trying to gain 1 Unit therefore you would have to lay -115 to win 100.. Just different ways of palying it I guess.. If all bets are trying to total 1 UNIT then he would have to lay the -115 to win 100.. Not 100 to win less...
