a few things. i could be wrong, but cubs did very well in coors field last year.
sosa hit some monster shots and the cubs really used the gaps to their advantage.
also- prior will NEVER be cheap. im going purely off memory but i believe he won his only start in coors field last year. i could be mistaken- but i remember questioning how prior would fare in coors his rookie season and he did quite well.
nelson cruz is hardly one of the rockies best pitchers too.
colorado is such a weird team. theyre so jekyl and hyde. theyll be absolutely clueless at the plate one day and then hammer the ball the next
heres one thing worth noting:
there are a LOT of free swingers in that rockies lineup. schilling and johnson normally eat them up because the rocks arent real disciplined at the plate.
if you catch my correlation- prior is a strikeout, power pitcher in the schilling mold. rocks could have a lot of punchouts tomorrow.
all in all, cubs bats have been silent the last 2 gsm. makes it tough to cap that game tomorrow

forget about playing either team and just take the under. 11 runs with Prior and Cruz on the mound should make you smile. why even worry about who is going to win. sit back and enjoy this game. final score should be about 5-4
