I think this group wants to beat the old team home win streak and has the talent to do so...

Throwing caution to the wind in picking a Canes game... as my record in picking their games proves...

5. Road Teams +2 goals...looking at the matchups I see only Detroit holding a significant advantage...all other games seem to be a "toss-up" with visitors having legitimate chances in each tilt, though as always, there will be some surprize scores...

1. Nashville [L 3-3] - Nashville blew a 2-1 lead in the 3rd period and fell behind 2-3 after Kolzig was pulled, only to score late to tie, and just missed a win on a 4-3 situation the last minute of OT

2. Sabres [W 3-2 OT] - great game, which the Sabres needed badly, chasing the 8th playoff spot...

3. Detroit -1.5 [L 2-3] - guys who played the money line here really suffered in this one, at -375

4. Hurricanes [W 4-1] - Anaheim's magic ran out, and maybe,
just maybe, my Hurricanes curse is OVER....

5. Visiting teams +2 - Easy winner, mostly thanks to Colorado's
6-0 whitewash of Minnesota

3 games Friday went into OT, and all 3 had a power play in the last minute of OT, with 2 of the teams, Buffalo and Arizona scoring a shorthanded goal to score the extra point, with Nashville almost doing the same...

3-2 for +80 units...

Still a profit for the day...
