Parra has not pitched well past 4 innings all year. The way this team has imploded, I don't expect a miracle because they slept in their own beds last night!

Any talk about Yost getting run out of town yet? The players seem uninspired and the pitching is horrible; while I don't think a managerial change fixes the problems, it wouldn't hurt, IMO.

It doesn't "fix" it, but what else do you do? Are you going to tell me a team with this much potential went from where they were in late July last year, to not winning a game the rest of the year, and now THIS SEASON to boot, and it doesn't start at the top?

Asses need to be kicked! Yost obviously isn't respected in that clubhouse.

You tell me? Do you work hard if your boss doesn't give a shit if you do? Everyone has been in an environment where you knew you could slack off, or if a certain boss was on......you better have your shit locked down, or it was out the fuking door!

This is not a situation where a guy or two is in a slump. The entire team.......with the exception of Sheets, is tanking! (Maybe they WANT Yost gone??????)

You look on the bench, and no one seems to give a shit, either! No in is mad! No one thows a glove after giving up 5 runs in an inning! No one kicks the dirt after striking out for the third time with the bases loaded! No one throws their helmet to the ground after hitiing into a double play trailing by a run!

This team is fuking DEAD!

You can't send the entire bunch to Triple A!

Now, people up here talk about Ted Simmons moving in! BULLSHIT! That fukbag drinks from the same contaminated water! We need fresh ideas up here, and we needed them two weeks ago! (Read........8 losses.........Read, 2 games out)

This season, if not over, is in serious jeopardy of being there real soon!

How the fuk am I the only person to see this???????????

I've been saying that Yost is a joke of a manager for almost as long as he has been in the job.
You are certainly not the only one that sees how bad things are on that squad, thats for should...

Another problem I see is how comfortable the players are--they all came up through the system together; most, if not all of the key guys have signed long-term deals or aren't eligible for arbitration yet; and it makes them feel comfortable.
Can you see a Lou Pinella or lets go old school here--a Gene Mauch-- putting up with the appalling lack of emotion on this team right now?

One way of shaking thing up would be to trade one of the young pretty boys--say, Hardy or Braun for a bag of batting practice balls and tell the rest of the slackers in that clubhouse that if you (the GM) don't start to see IMMEDIATE improvement in attitude, hustle and emotion, a few more of them will be gone.
But, you have sold a chitload of tix for this season--many dates throughout the summer are already close to being sell-outs-so the ownership has no need to panic as the $$ continue to roll in...

They can't trade Braun.. Too much potential, but Hardy can go at any time. Yost has been an idiot for years. The injury to Gallardo, not resigning Cordero and signing Gagne is disaster. Don't know if Yost had anything to do with not resigning Cordero but he should of begged management to keep him.
