Love the Lakers -6.5. Here's some reasons:

-Lakers have covered seven of last nine vs. SA

-SA has won ATS only once in last nine road games

-LAL 14-7 ATS at home,14-2 SU home vs. West

-LAL has lost more than two back-to-back ATS once all year, as evidenced by their 6-1 ATS after failing to cover 3 of their last 4 against the spread this season.

-SA 1-9 ATS vs winning teams (60-75%),

-LAL 8-1 ATS off 2 or more consecutive upset losses as a favorite over the last 3 seasons. Also 8-1 ATS as a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points this season.

Also, visitors are shooting 29.3% from three-pt range against the Lakers, so Steve Smith should be held in check. Bruce Bowen is out, so there is no one to guard Kobe. He has had a couple subpar games and should be ready to break out. Entire team should be angry after bad loss to decimated Nuggets and 2nd half choke against Clipps.

This is somewhat of a statement game for LAL. Hopefully, Parker will not be back for SAN, but I like LAL either way. Robinson always shrivels against Lakers. They whipped SAN without Shaq in the last meeting, which could mean revenge for SAN, but Lakers should be ready to go in this one.

Lakers also have never lost three in a row under the zen master. This is my favorite play of the day.

Good Luck

Adding
Philly +1 or ML
ATL Under 192
Philly under 185
TOR +2

Still LAL is my fave but these are the others I came up with. Good luck to all.

Fuuuuuukkkkkk.

I will never bet on those choking dogs again. Up 12 after dominating the first half and they squeak out the win. What the hell is wrong with them lately. You would think they would have learned form the Clipps game that a double digit lead at the half can disappear.

I'm sorry to anyone who my writeup may have swayed, I myself had more on this one than any game in the past month.
Seems whenever I go out of my way to post something like this, it backfires. Ouch.

Jeff...

Jeff...

It's been the same for me tonight and this month with the TimberWolves...

Try to be positive and move on to the next day...

The Lakers have been so inconsistent lately...

One week they BLOW OUT SA in SA...Now at home they get lazy with a small double digit lead and should have lost !

Stay STRONG !

:)

Try watching the BUCKS they have been my BIG WINNER this month !

Jeff, they've been doing it for at least 3 years. I figured a 5 point win would be about right and I'm tired of warning people about them and NY. You can win on them but you have to really pick your spots. Like I said earlier, they can cover any 10 point spread anytime they want to so it has nothing to do with cappin.

Thanks Dta.

GSP- Trust me, I know about how LAL is inconsistent and can be great or mediocre or bad on any given night. I had not played on them in a while and was picking my spots - this looked to be a very good spot IMO for the reasonsI listed.

Thing is, the LAKERS won every category- reb, FT, assist, turnovers. Duncan had a decent game but nothing special. SA did not connect on a lot of threes either (3-10). SA got 7 more FGAs, thats the only category they had.

Those pigs think they can just throw their jerseys out there and win the title.
