Have to apologize for my first TRIPLE play last nite on the CLIPS OVER. Had I known they were gonna continue to lay mansonry for the first 8 minutes of the third, and then the SAC bench would end the half like that, well....

1 for 13 to start the 2nd half for the CLITTERS after shooting only 29% for the first half....

AND then, the SAC bench decided not to play for the last 8-10 minutes of the game... I so badly wanted the CLIPS to tie up that game and send it to OT. Would have served them right...:thefinger

Don't sweat it, Rander. Dallas pulled a number like that on me last year or the year before. Very similar situation with a blowout brewing. Their bench threw up bricks the entire 4th quarter and I ended up getting beat by a few points on the total. Unbelievable sometimes.

HORNETS / RAPTORS

Looks like the HORNETS came to play again tonite, but will they wilt like two nites ago at home vs MAGIC??? Game is being played at a fast pace, both teams hitting well so far, but I don't think we'll see that kind of production in 2nd half. Looking for line, but thinking TOR and UNDER...

New Orleans is being very agressive........outrebounding by far. I think that stays the same......toronto has a tendency to give up. i'll take n.o. +1.5 for 2 units.

I live and die with overs which probably isn't the best practice all of the time, but I bet the game over in Philly so not betting the 2nd half over basically says to myself that I made the wrong play. I don't think I did so I'm rolling 3 units on Philly/GS 2nd half over 105.5. Very large number but I agree with Rander that Philly is going to come back. In order to do that, they're goin gto have to shoot at a torrid pace. They can do that against GS. I wouldn't be surprised to see Philly put up 70 in the 2nd half. One of these teams is hitting 115 points.

Philly/GS o 105.5 3 units

Good luck!

Philly down by 23 at the half will come back in this one... can't see them losing at home on a FRIDAY nite by double digits. Because of the comeback, this total will come near 220 I believe by game's end...

BULLS and UNDER are both value plays... You're going UNDER 214.5 in a game that was lined at 189, a huge 25 pt difference, and you're getting the BULLS +25 in a game that went off at +9.5

I'll take my chances with both, expecting them both to come in, or lose miserably. It shouldn't be close.... BULLS either come to play in 2nd half or go home.

You'll rarely see me go against ANY home team on FRIDAY nite. I think if you were to check the ATS record of all NBA home teams for the season, it would be near or over 60%. The problem is, lots of times you are laying double digits with only decent teams, or taking a home dog that is pitiful. BUT, for whatever reason (huge drunk home crowd with paycheck in pocket???) they seem to play above and beyond on this one nite. That is why I love to see a HOME TEAM FAV be down at HT.... I'll bite on that one every time and win more than I lose!!

CAVS / CELTICS

Wow... what a huge difference between quarters???

I didn't like playing BOS as a big fav on a six game losing streak even against CLEV and I won't now either... I would lean to playing the UNDER 95 but am passing... not sure which teams are coming back after the break. This one is best left alone unless you're watching it and am seeing something I'm not...

PASS

Agree Rander. Nothing good can happen betting a Celtics game. I cry about that team because of bad beats in the past. I won't play them or a game they are involved in. Almost did tonight but showed some restraint. They are a spotty team that is too inconsistent. They pump up entirely too many three pointers and to me, that can only last so long during a game since no one can maintain hot perimeter shooting ALL night long EVERY game.

MINNY/MIAMI 3Q UNDER 45.5

Both teams shooting over 50%. See a drop-off in the 2H, 3Q should be a slow paced one.

I can't believe nobody is here tonite.... oh well. I had to leave for dinner and missed out on two incredible bargains I feel....

DET and NJ UNDER

BOTH of these would have been plays in my book, I don't even know the lines, but DET down by 11 would have been one, and OBVIOUSLY NJ and NY can't keep up that torrid pace....

JAZZ -5.5 ** DOUBLE PLAY ** over 97.5 * Single play *

JAZZ have history of lulling one to sleep with back door give and go type ball... THEN, opening up and running with their younger fresher legs in 2H and pulling away to win. Although I doubt if many in UTAH are partying tonite, I look for a 10-12pt win by UTAH here.

FINAL: UTAH 101 MILW 89
