3.7M viewers is hard to be positive.
They were disappointed with 7M viewers so what do you think they are thinking with 3.7M :facepalm:
Fringe forums are blaming the big drop on the fact it was a crossover episode and that storyline needs to be killed fast.
Friday night is where shows that were once considered good go to die.

Does anyone know the connection between Fringe and The Wire? Someone or multiple someones working on Fringe had to have worked on The Wire, most likely someone in the casting department. For anyone that has seen both series, have you noticed that multiple actors from The Wire have made appearances on Fringe?
I just caught up on the last couple episodes and I have to say, not too impressed with this season so far. It may be in part because it is annoying only seeing a little of the story play out at a time (unlike the first two and a half seasons that I devoured in less than a month), but ever since the two Olivias gor back to their right universes I think the show has been dragging.
I hope Peter knocks up this Olivia too! Now that would be funny!

In September 2008, Joshua Jackson had to be rushed to a hospital when during a stunt a copper wire was shoved up his nose and hit a vein.
For the first season, each episode of 'Fringe' ran from about 49 to 51 minutes in length. This is in contrast to the typical 42-43 minute length of a one hour drama. This was an experiment by Fox to see if viewers are more likely to tune in if there are fewer commercials.
Throughout the first season, 'The Observer' could be spotted on other FOX programming such as in the audience of American Idol, or on the sidelines of NFL and NASCAR events.
The pilot was filmed in Hamilton, Ontario and Toronto, Ontario but the rest of the first season was shot in New York City. Production moved to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for season 2.
During the DVD commentary for the episode "Brown Betty" featuring effects supervisor Jay Worth, co-producer Tanya Swerling, composer Chris Tilton, and co-music supervisor Bill Gottlieb, they discuss the fact that every episode of "Fringe" includes an "Easter egg" - a reference that foreshadows some element of the next episode.
"The Observer" can be spotted in every episode: Episode 1.01: Walking past Massive Dynamics in the intro shot to that corporation. Episode 1.02: At the counter in the Hospital. Episode 1.03: in a couple of shots (one is a reflection) on the train. Episode 1.04: Featured several times. Episode 1.05: Getting off the doomed elevator as it fills up. Episode 1.06: In the Country Club watching Dunham's conversation with {bad guy}. two shots, one long, then he crosses directly behind the two as the converse. Episode 1.07: In the German Airport near the ticket counter. Episode 1.08: Outside, under a tree when Dunham takes a cell call outside the house they're searching.
