OK I am playing catch up here, but I don't think I missed any episodes. I just watched the one where the guy who was shot invaded the girls body, and noticed Olivia's partner was back, how did he come back I thought he was killed by the shape shifter?

The episode you speak of was actually a "lost episode" that Fox aired a couple weeks ago. It actually was supposed to be the 3rd episode of season 1. So yes, Charlie is dead, he ain't coming back.
But yes I can see how you were confused.
Fox should have had words scrolling across the screen saying:
"Yes I know he's dead, just pretend he's alive for this episode":142smilie
And cound have also scrolled:
"Anna Torv is hot"

FOX picked them up for a 22 episode 3rd season which was a little iffy because numbers fell from season 1 a good amount.
Why move it from Tues to Thursday head to head with "CSI" and "The Office"?
It hurt the ratings for sure putting it in that time slot. I wonder if they move it next season.

I didn't know Anna Torv was married to Mark Valley( her former early episode partner on Fringe John Scott).
He is currently starring in the Human Target. I have tried to watch that show but doesnt hold my interest and it sounds like it is going to be a one and down series.
