FROM A PROTESTER:
Our young soldiers are sent to Iraq to dominate the people there in any way that they can, dragging off family members, imprisoning and perhaps even torturing numbers of civilians. Bush is a traitor for asking American young people to participate in these atrocities which will haunt them for the rest of their lives.
Please don't be fooled into thinking that there is a positive side to taking kind young people, and turning them into killers and bullies.
sincerely,
Amy Hendrickson

FROM A SOLDIER:
thanks Amy for that wonderful input. and you are the military expert because.....? what rank are you? what branch of service? and where have you been? Me?? I'm a Specialist in the United States Army about to make Sergeant. I'm an MP and I just got back from Baghdad, Iraq last month and let me tell you Iraq is not the country that the media makes it out to be. I even volunteered to go back in the next coming year. Just so I can go kill innocent Iraqi's? Quite the opposite. I went there to kill terrorists. 19 months and I have yet to do so.

Saddam ruined these peoples lives. He stole from them and tortured them. I spent a year and a half in Iraq already in the heat of it all. Patrolled the worst streets that country has to offer and haven't had to fire my weapon once. I plan on going back to help that country again. I was part of the security for the first free elections of a country. If you even voted this year, how did you do it? Drive up in your BMW with a full tank of gas without a worry in the world? Or in full gear and in terror of losing your life for your freedom.

The way I see it people like you can do one of three things:
1) bite your lip the next time you feel like judging something that you will never understand
2) lace up your boots and find out what its really like there
3) take part in something special.

My last deployment in Baghdad. I started the Piazza Toy Express. I did not ask for any care packages for myself. My family and friends sent me toys, candy, and clothing for the children of Iraq. (see attached picture of myself and my gunner, a cold-hearted trigger happy killer, on our knees with Iraqi children blowing bubbles) I exposed myself to Iraqi people everyday to hand out gifts. The next deployment kicks off in another couple of months. I will send you my mail address in Iraq personally so you can be a part of it, if you have the heart. Until then, think before you speak and enjoy the freedoms SOLDIERS give you everyday. Sleep tight in your comfortable bed and drive safe in your pretty little car.
SPC Andy C. Piazza
463rd Military Police Company
United States Army

(I have Andy's address if any of you would like to write to him or thank him or send toys for the Iraqi kids...let me know)

No, I didn't mean that at all. That chick Amy is an obnoxious bitch. I was just wondering how Andy came to directly respond to her.

You can f*ck off with that other stuff about dates or whatever. Unlike yourself, I have served and I have the utmost respect for every man and woman in uniform. They do an unbelieveable job and we always have. I feel sick that they have been put in this situation.

ENJOY!

Once AGAIN, I will tell you to refer to my post that you ignored 3 or 4 weeks ago that explains how soldiers doing good things and seeing progress, and things being bad overall are NOT mutually exclusive.

I see this young fellow cant wait to go back to kill terrorist. I guess he was never told what his mission was. Free the people from WMD. Then remove Saddam. Then they need elections. And so on it goes one thing to the next. But not terrorist. They do have insurgents that blow up people at the rate of 3 explosion a day. And so far this month 41 of our soldiers god bless them all have died. So maybe he's just been lucky. I hope for his sake he remains well.

people have different jobs in the military. Do actually think that someone guarding a post or patrolling the streets for IEDs is looking for yellowcake? I wish i was able to simplify it for you for sake of conversation but i think it would go right over your head.
call me when you educate yourself on the subject, darling

This just goes to show how much these liberals know about battle strategy and the military in general. It's so easy for them to be back-seat drivers. I guess they know a lot more than our U.S. Military commanders do. I like how Kosar tried to challenge my integrity...nice touch. Here we have a U.S. soldier who spent 19 months in Iraq fighting for what he beleives in and then we have Kosar who spends 24/7 in an internet chatroom critisizing our own country day in and day out.

Did you see my link that you requested Kosar? Now do you want to tell me I'm full of it? That's chickenshit but you know what, so are the rest of your propoganda-based arguments. Here we now have the first voice FROM IRAQ!!! All you could do was question the authenticity. That's pathetic. Typical Kosar.

Great to see the chickenhawks rippen' a vet.

When you put the yellow ribbon magnet on the back of your SUV, it should mean something besides a Bush pom pom.

Manson, What is your "friend" doing sending you a response from someone from notinourname.com? You've been proven to be a liar, so it is only natural to question any information that you give.

Hey Bobby Blue Chip - Would you like to email the soldier personally and tell him he's full of shit? I'll be glad to hook you up. Just say the word. Is that the type of person you are? How about clicking on the link I provided???? Yeah, that's what I thought.

You're just pissed because the people WHO ARE THERE IN IRAQ tell a much more different story than the liberal media does. It must be frustarting for you. It's a propoganda killer I know.

It's typical Manson to totally make shit up, so forgive me. I'll try the link again later, but the acrobat reader in that link just froze up my computer and I don't feel like rebooting again just yet.

I see some of the guys here that have no clue about the vets we have here. Mason you speak and no one listens. When a real vet like DTB or Kosar speak. We may argue but what they get is total respect. And saying I know nothing about the service. Again you would be wrong. I understand 60/61 is long time a-go. I'm guessing you may have not even been in diapers yet.
