Most of our guests and visitors won't believe this but MJ horse players know that I don't play childish games when posting. In fact it's even a little embarrassing to post this.

I just gotta share this today -
This kind of thing has happened to me before but it is VERY RARE; my bankaroo was getting very low (like under $10) so I had to bet with single dollar bills. In the 7th race today at Woodbine, which is only one of the two tracks I play these days, and not other tracks at all. My $4 stinkin dollars went on no. 4 and 5. Bet one ticket with ONE $ Win/Place on each. That was the only bet I made this race and if it loses I leave my desk with my tail between my legs. ;)

Results:

7th Race - Woodbine - Saturday, October 12th, 2019
Conditions: Nearctic S., Stakes, $189,457 (US $143,516), Open 3 yo's & up, 6F, Turf.
Off Time: 4:36 Number of Runners: 9 Track: Yielding Weather: Cloudy 17o
Pedigree: 5 - City Boy, Bay Gelding, 5, by City Zip - Princess Ruckus by Bold Ruckus
Fractions: :222, :45, :562, 1:08 :)22.54, :45.13, :56.47, 1:08.18)
# Horse Jockey Weight Win Place Show
5 City Boy Campbell Jesse M. 119 50.70 20.90 11.70
4 Reconfigure Contreras Luis 119 10.60 6.50
8 Richiesinthehouse Valdivia, Jr. Jose 119 6.50

adding -> the ONE dollar exacta paid $209.65, I wasn't crazy enough to bet exactas, fLUCK!

I have my account results from the report from TwinSpires if somebody with a keyboard want's me to post it, chime in, but I don't think it's necessary.

Ain't hoss wacin fun somethimes?

Am I dreaming?

Am I dreaming?

Not one but TWO viewers that know how to use a keyboard :0053

I've gone through months in this place, picking some weiners, without a single reply except for my own.

yyz, with the big field in that race, I don't think my luck would have gotten that far to find the 3rd and 4th place finisher for the "Zuppa". In fact, if somebody woulda asked me if I thought my 24/1 and 11/1 would have been the exacta I prob. would have said, "HIGHLY unlikely, " but I do believe one of them could be the weiner. :)

Sportsaholic, I'm feeling a little better after reading your reply. A horse player fan/bettor with the amount of experience (WAY too many yrs.) I have with the "ponies" should never have a bankroll of $10 stinkin dollars.

Here something that may be useful forya:

My last deposit into Spires was $120 awhile back and I managed to get it around $300 when the poo poo hit the fan. That downward spiral lasted for a good no. of months and ended before reaching zero when I made the "miracle" hit I wrote about.

Here's my point to you - when it went through the $50 mark and going down I started reducing my bet amounts by quite a bit. When it hit $20 I reduced it further with 1 stinkin dollar exactas, 20 CENT tries. and when it got close to $10 down to bets like the one I wrote, ONE stinkin dollar.

NOW, IF I didn't do that, I never would have made it to that 7th race. You might want to think about doing that and just play races that you see a highly questionable favorite AND one or two potential winning LONG shots. Putting that favorite top/bot with at least two of those LONG shots exactas is a good idea. Another good idea is to NOT play more than half of the races being run that day.

After your replies, I just might stick around here and post something that I think is worthwhile IF I find one.

Thanks for stopping in and Good Luck whatever you play.
