Aces - All I can get is this

UNH (+140)
U of Minny (-170)

For UNH to win, I think that their goalie Ayers has to stand on his head. Maybe even stuff a horse shoe up his :moon:

Minny is big, UNH is smaller but fast. Watched both semi games on Thursday, Minny got down 2-0 to Michigan and methodically pounded them, eventually tieing it up and then winning in OT

UNH on Thursday was getting KILLED by Cornell. They were being outshot something like 10-1 in the first 10 minutes of the game. Cornell scored but it was waived off due to a high stick...UNH seemed to be picked up by the break they got came down and scored within 2 minutes. Totally deflated Cornell and UNH rolled to a 3-0 lead eventually hanging on to a 3-2 win

Good luck - I'm passing and will be flipping between NHL playoffs on the duece and this game on the original ESPN

EDIT - Got the UNH goalies name correct

UNH goalie got hurt in the semis versus cornell, they said he was going to play the 3rd period hurt, cause they basically had no other option. Just hope he could play good enough

Thanks Sammy - I totally forgot about that. The ESPN2 broadcast guys said that the UNH backup is a freshman and played in only 2 games this year

I watched most of this one - switching to the Ottawa game between commercials. The better team won tonight in Buffalo. UNH kept it close, 1-1 end of 2 but the bigger, better Gophers just kept on coming. They outshot UNH 21-9 after two periods. Ayers played great but he couldn't do it alone. It was entertaining until it got to 3-1 they you could see UNH knew it was over. That's when I started watching the Sens & Isles and switching back to this one during commercials. 5-1 final, last one was an empty netter

Congrats Gopher backers
