mooks

they're the same team to me.

kitchen was comical tonight, and i dont care how many points he scored

he had the ball on the last possession of the half.....and ran the clock out.......he had the ball on the last possesson of the game......and ran the clock out......he was the defender on the last defensive possession and gives up a layup and then.....once again....has the ball on the last possession of the game.....and the clock ran out.

3 final possessions (2 to win the game) and he doesnt even get a shot off?????

somewhere bruce peal is nodding in agreement.

That was a mind boggling performance by that kid. No mention by the coward announcers. This needs to be talked about on the highlight shows. It won't though. I am still trying to figure out what he could have been thinking on that inbounds.

he was thinking about how much money he could make by not guarding his man and then taking the inbounds pass and letting the clock run out

mission accomplished

theres no way Derwin Kitchen fixed this game.

FSU has been offensively challenged all season, its nothing new. they rely on defense to win games, not offense.

VCU was +3 or something weren't they? Kitchen didnt have to lose the game if he was going to fix it.

and do you sincerely think a game like this, at this point in the season, with this many people watching, is going to be fixed?

Singleton almost fucked it up by sending the game to OT. Good thing Kitchen took care of things in the end to make sure things went according to plan. :0074

do i believe in every game being fixed?

no

but if ever you could watch a game and pick out a player who was on the take, kitchen would be the guy (and fwiw......teams/players dont just fix the line they can fix the winner).....who lets the clock go off three times without getting a shot off????? in the same game.

an offensively challenged team.

Kitchen led his team in points, rebounds, and assists. also made 6 of 7 from the FT line and shot a good % from the field.

VCU let the clock run out and ended up taking a shot that was blocked forcing a shot clock violation. Was that guy on the take too?

Kitchen didnt even take the last shot. If he was so concerned with losing the game he wouldve just thrown up some ridiculous shot or dribble it off his leg or something. Not give Singleton the chance to win the game.

You are being ridiculous. Actually that is putting it kindly, you are sounding like an idiot.

The guy scores 23 points, grabs 11 boards (6 offensive) and shoots 6 of 7 from the line. His points is a season-high for him. He had plenty of opportunities to throw the game that would be less obvious.

On the last play he ended up being too far under the bucket. Was it a smart play, heck no. But did he throw the game, no.

sure he gave it to singleton.....after the buzzer went off....his shot wouldnt have counted

and if someone wanted to control the outcome of a game....i'd expect them to have tons of shots and points so they could control the game AND not make it look so obvious

singleton HAD the ball before the buzzer went off.

why would Kitchen grab 6 offensive boards if he were on the take? why would he be making those type of hustle plays?

its a shame that just because people are on the wrong side of a game they need a scapegoat so they resort to something as ridiculous as saying this game was fixed.

I always had a hunch that Jordan was point-shaving. Thanks for pointing this out to support that theory.

according to that theory, we can also throw every point guard who has ever played the game into possible point shavers since they have the ball most of the time.
