well it looks like pretty much everyone here is on the heels and around 70% of the public on the consensus sites i see are on the heels too. the only real reason i have seen for people being on carolina is that they will win this game because there is no way they can go 1-3 in the ACC. Why cant they? i think this is a very stupid reason for betting on a team. UNC has only played 3 true road games this year, losing 2 and beating a powerhouse in Cleveland St. by 5 points. real impressive work they have done on the road this year. Yes FSU is on a 4 game losing streak but they were in 3 of games and could have easily won all 3. they lost 2 by 5 points and one in overtime. ONly 1 of those last 4 losses was at home. This FSU team always plays the upper echelon ACC teams tough at home and this year they are even better than usual. They have the athletes to play with Carolina and I have heard some say that FSU is the toughest place to play in the ACC outside of Cameron. I think Ill side with vegas here and take the Noles. I can get 4.5 right now but I see this line rising the rest of the day and should get 5 or 5.5 by gametime. All you Carolina backers please give me some reasoning as to why you think UNC wins this game.

gl tcag. i would have to agree. while i dont think ill be putting my money on florida state, that IS the side i lean to.

noles have been very solid at home vs the elite acc teams. and carolinas defensive effort leaves a lot to be desired.

on paper, carolina probably 5 or 6 points better, but no way i play against fsu at home. they are surprisingly tough on their own court.

Yep Wilson I just love being one of the 25% of people siding with the books. Public wins sometimes but not usually when 75% of the public is on one side. I have a good feeling the Noles get it done tonight.

Agree txag; another one that's even more interesting today is UW-Milwaukee - Cleveland St. Line started at Cleve St. +9 and 78% of the public is on Wisc.-Mil; yet stunningly the line has dropped and now sits at +7.5 at most books. You have to scratch your head at that one. That tells me either that the books are setting everyone up, or that the minority that are putting their money on Cleveland St. are betting BIG, BIG, BIG!

I got 5 at SIA. Ill go with the FSU head coach and the noles at that price. good to see the only reasons the unc backers have for betting on the tarheels is there is no way unc can go 1-3 in the conference and roy willimas. noles showup and play tonight.
