I think arrow just feels passionately about helping, and there is nothing wrong with that. However, lots of people have emailed me that have not posted in this thread. The majority, in fact, have not posted in this thread.

Thanks to all - I have a lot of emails so far, and some who posted in the original thread have not contacted me yet, but I'm sure they will!

i feel a little better now that i talked to jessica and she assured me it is going better than it looks. I just see 200 replies on stupid threads like "do you pick your nose", so it was a little upsetting to me their was only 12 replies on a thread that really hits home with many parents with children. So lets all rally, and make a difference for canuckfan77.:0074

We are starting a fund for canuckfan and his family. They can use the money to go to Disney World, or if there are more pressing needs, they can use it as they see fit to help their family through this difficult time. I gave him several options, and canuckfan has asked that I collect all funds and cards and then I will send him one check and all the cards together in a package. Email me and I will send you details about where to send your cards and donation. You can send money via paypal or check.

He also asked that I collect all addresses and/or email addresses (whatever your preference) so that he can write and thank each person. I will collect these via email and make a list of them for him.

I cleared it with Jack to post my email address, so that he doesn?t have to send it out to everyone who is interested. So if you want to contribute to this cause, please send an email to me:

If for some reason I don?t respond within 24 hours, tell me because some emails go to junk automatically.

Thanks to Gibber for the great idea and everyone else who has indicated they will contribute to this cause. Again, money cannot solve any wrong done, but we can try to help alleviate some stress for canuck, his wife, and kids.

Chill man, here's part of the problem. I NEVER, EVER come to the GD forum I'm always in the specific sports forums. I just happened to follow a link to the GD forum tonight and saw this sticky at the top of the page. I bet there are quite alot of other posters on here like me, I bet a great percentage. So don't come down so hard man, it could be something as simple as that.

When we have a cause like this it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a sticky in all the forums. That would be a great help and I wouldn't mind it at all personally.
