I thought it was pretty funny. Maybe not hysterical, but definitely funny. Seeing a dweeb in that outfit flail with his yo-yo tricks on national TV is funny, in my book. Especially with the little comments he was throwing in afterwards.
Then again, I thought the "fucking blizzzzaaarrrrd" kid who was freaking out when he couldn't get logged into his computer was absolutely hilarious. I guess I just have a warped sense of humor. :shrug:
Didn't even think of that, gmroz. He's a GREAT actor if that's the case, because he comes off as a genuine doorknob in that clip.
I saw the disastrous performance coming from a mile away. He was too goofy/uncomfortable.....and his outfit/name seem like a joke as well.
Yeah, the outfit is hard to believe. I was just waiting for Bowzer to start throwing some fireballs at him.
I thought it was a fake bad performance, and that's why I didn't think it was funny. If there was a true disclaimer that it wasn't fake, and I went into it with that mindset, then it would probably be funnier.

This guy is exploding all over the internet today for tricking Midwest news shows into thinking he's a yo-yo wizard, when in fact he's just a deadpan wizard.
A strange, strange man has been showing up on morning shows throughout the Midwest, claiming to be a yo-yo trick champion. He is not. He is actually terrible at yo-yo. Yet he keeps getting on the air.
Little is known about "K-Strass," who goes by Kenny Strasser, or sometimes Karl Strassburg. He claims to be from Wisconsin (except when he doesn't). He claims to be from a broken home, with his own addiction issues (except when he isn't).
All we know is that K-Strass has shown up on television six times in the past month, showing off his yo-yo "skills" and generally embarrassing the hosts.
