I'm sure most of you have already put some of these in before the season or earlier this year, but I usually like to wait until after the Superbowl to see who's playing well enough and has a good enough defense to win this year. Played 8:
In alpahbetical order:

Connecticut 75-1 Almost impossible to get a good look down low. Seem to be getting it together.

Duke 10-1 Toughest Dukie team I've seen in a while

Louisville 30-1 Getting healthy at the right time

Memphis 5-1 Is this the year? They have the talent, just need to hit a Free Throw.

North Carolina 11-2 Defense is the question mark here.

Stanford 70-1 This team has impressed me. Bigs are playing well, tough D and just enough offense.

Tennessee 10-1 Pearl is a great tourney coach, if they get rolling, watch out!

Xavier 70-1 Seem to be a tough out in the tourney.

Each played for varying amounts which I won't get into, but obviously the longer shots would be the most lucrative. Nothing against UCLA and Kansas.

Good luck to everyone.

added one more long shot today as they have played well and you never know in the tourney:

Marquette 75-1.

Looks like Uconn, Louisville and Stanford have really dropped since a month ago.

Good luck to everyone.

So. Cal
really love your louisville wager

think uconn can make a run as well, just dont think they can win 6 in the tourney

think 10-1 on tenn is better then they will be, might have a decent bet there

from a pac-10 guy, dont like stan at all and think they dont make it to week 2 of the tourney

I was happy to see Louisville and UConn play well since this wager, but I still like Stanford. As an outside observer, this is the best team in an overrated Pac -10. Strong conference, but they will be lucky to have 2 teams make the sweet 16. Ucla cannot shoot to save there lives. Stanford is strong on defense and scoring as of late. I will take my chances with them.

So. Cal
well of the 8 teams you have. i'd put stanford in 7th place (just ahead of xavier) in terms of likelihood to win it all.

seen it before with this team, a great regular season squad with size and defense......but their guard play and lack of scoring gets exposed in the tourney when teams pack it in on them and run them out of the gym.

Well, still have 6 possiblities left.... would love to see Xavier, Stanford or Louisville cash. Was really rooting for A-M the other night...still can't believe they blew that. A little worried about Kansas ruining this, but you never know...

good luck to all
