A STOLEN WRITE UP BECAUSE IT'S DAMN GOOD....
Lots of people thinking the saints bounce back here, and rightfully so. Brees has always been average on the road in outdoor stadiums but at home this saints offense is unstoppable. Usually.
If there's one team that's as dominant on the road as they are at home it's the panthers. They're 4-0 in there last 4 road games wining by a combined score of 106-50.
Since there week 8 bye, the saints have had three home games. The first two they out scored there opponents 84-34. Two teams in the bills and cowboys that rank in the bottom half of the league in defense. In week 11, they came away with a narrow 3 point victory thanks to a lucky roughing the passer penalty against the 49ers, a top 5 ranked defense. These fly high boys struggle against physical defenses, and the Panthers have exactly that.
That leads me to my favorite angle in this game, momentum and confidence. No one in the league has more confidence right now than the panthers, boasting a franchise high 8 game winning streak. They already took down two powerhouses in the Patriots and 49ers and with everyone talking about how unstoppable the saints are at home, they'll surely be giving it there all here.
On the other side, the Saints were just mentally fucked, Super Bowl contenders, not only did they lose on Monday night, but they were bent over and ****** in the ***. Did anyone see Drew Brees' face after the game? He looked like a wounded gazelle. Huge shot to there ego here getting spanked like that by a conference foe and knowing they won't have homefield advantage in the playoffs.
The Saints just had there most physical game of the year. Teams have struggled big time the week after facing the Seahawks this year due to the physicality of there team. Don't believe me? Teams are 3-8 ATS after facing Seattle this year. The 3 times teams did cover was against the Falcons (26th ranked defense), the Packers (24th ranked defense), and the Dolphins (14th ranked defense). The Panthers are easily top 5.

actually as of 830pm eastern the forumn is about 50-50 on this game. also Brees is something like 14-1 on MNF after a loss
