Pinnacle will have +.5 and ML for the game only and overtime and shootout not inclusive.

I have a feeling the books will get clobbered in October. Many players will be on different teams this year along with the new rules. Then again, maybe this will work to the advantage of the books.

I think there is great opportunity with totals. I read that the shrinkage of the goalie equipment shouldn't make any difference as goaltending is about technique.

Chenker and Ddubs were the best NHL cappers I have seen @ MJ's. Maybe they will return posting. Both were great cappers and won me $$$. They convinced me that NHL might be the best sport to beat the book.

I'm really confused.

Pinny lines right now are all 1.5 and a moneyline. It says see rules and as of now they only have complete game posted.

For "NHL Complete Game" wagers, the game must play to completion. For grading purposes, all goals scored during regulation and overtime are counted, plus one goal for the winner of a shootout if it occurs.


So if you play a +1.5 you automatically win if there is any kind of overtime or shootout.

Similar to if you played a 1.5 last year. That's fine, but as of yet they haven't posted regulation time lines, in general the +.5 Maybe tomorrow:

For "NHL Regulation Time" wagers, the game must go at least 55 minutes to have action. Goals scored in overtime or a shoot-out are not counted for spreads, totals or moneylines. If there is a tie at the end of the third period,"NHL Regulation Time" moneyline wagers push and are refunded.


Interesting looking at all the totals they are all 5.5 or above except the minnesota/carolina game.

I don't think books will get hammered the first month. Not a sharp one like pinny. They will adjust as players adjust. Should be an interesting first few weeks.
