-The Bruins snapped a six-game losing streak to the Kings that dated back to 1997. Dafoe started the game in net, and faced four Los Angeles shots, but did not return to action in the second period. Instead, he was being treated for his flu-like symptoms in the Bruins' locker room.

"During the course of the first period he told me he had a headache and started to feel not very well. Grahame is healthy so we threw him in there and he did a great job," Ftorek said. "Grahame is ready to play any time, and he showed that tonight."

Grahame hopped in and shut down the Kings attack with 12 saves down the stretch.

"I really didn't have much to do there, they played so well," Grahame said. "You just kind of get it together in your head do a little stretch and off you go. There's not much time to think about it. It?s not like you've never done it before, so you just go out and do it."

Note: I was at the game and the crowd got real nervous when Grahame started working the crease to start the second period.
For anyone who didn't watch the game, Boston dominated from start to finish. The effects of 4 road games in 6 nights definitely took it's toll on the Kings. The B's top line of Thornton, Samsonov & Murray are getting to a point where they can just take over a game whenever they feel like it.

Guerin & Stumpel really play well together also. Marty Lapointe got his first goal in 16 games...The 3rd line with Rolston & PJ Axelson were flying out there. By looking at the score sheet, you wouldn't know it...Ftorek is rolling his 4 lines on a regular basis and even the 4th line that includes Andre Nazarov & PJ Stock doesn't look like a liability out there.

Please understand these notes are from a Bruins fan and I sometimes look thru black & gold glasses.
