Weber had the Illini's best two defenders out for much of the 1st half as they got into foul trouble. NW hitting at a 66% clip and 4 of 7 from beyond the arch. Many of those three's where of the wide open variety as the Illini had to double up on other players with a weaker defensive unit on the floor. An Illini player or two actually got a bit tired from the extra minutes and energy expended without the better two defenders on the floor. IMO NW doesn't keep hitting at this clip.
