Zimmerman got lit up like a roman candle last outing on the 21st vs the Dodgers. He lasted 58 pitches.
2 Innings 8 hits 7 Er's.
I got a feeling after watching him throw Sunday something is up with him.
68% on the Nats opener -195 :scared.
Nationals saved faced Thursday not being swept by the Pirates and sinking deeper in the standings thanks to Harper.
I don't think the Nationals or Zimmerman coming off that beatdown should be anywhere close to -195.
Will be looking very hard at 1st 5 and game plays.

FWIW, Zim got lit up, you are right, TF, and by the hottest team in MLB, the Doyers. It was bound to happen, it happens to all pitchers who've started out the first half of the year, with double digit wins and quality starts, it happens.

He's had some rest and now catch the Mets off a tough home series vs the Braves, they themselves coming off tough home series vs Pirates - Harper is getting hot and this is typically when the other Z starts to hit. Nats won't even get a WC birth if they don't start stringing together some wins, so getting to righthanded fireballers in their lil ball park with it being hotter than a mofo outdoors, only means a couple things. Hopefully you can watch the games tonight, I get blocked out where I am, but I'm sure both of the games will be lopsided.

GL!!

Harvey & Ohlendorf both throw hard, Harvey changes speeds better and Nats off another blowout loss, they either clobber Harvey or this game goes into extras with double digit run scoring.

GL tonite TF! :0074
