OKD.....congrats on your Oklahoma win but the lame duck coach is and was a factor.....its hard to put 100% of your gameplanning into a game when you are 2000miles away signing a 2million a year contract with Alabama..and he took half the coaches with him..so they werent exactly given 100% into preparations for oklahoma...they were finding new houses and finding schools for their kids.....so to say the Lame Duck coach is not a factor is just plain dumb....by the way..I was on Oklahoma cause they were a better team with a better running game and better defense before Price left.....but after that I increased this game cause of the lame duck coach factor!!!!!!!!

I'm not even going to comment on that. You believe whatever you want.

You'd have to be blind not to see that the lame duck coaching situation was a factor. Same exact thins as Willingham and Stanford last year.

Always fade these teams!!!

Just got home G. . . tough loss obviously but there is no way that anybody could have predicted the OU defense to dominate the way they did. . . if they did, then they were on OU already.

I capped this game as well and WSU looked very very solid. I think Gesser for the most part (except for that interception on the 2 yard line) played a good game, but his receivers struggled.

Football is funny in that one play can turn a game completely around. . . the missed FG late in the 2nd half was huge. Who could have capped that one? 14 points right there.

Anyways, lets rebound tomorrow with Iowa and Friday with Ohio State (at least those will be my picks).

GL bud and I'll be waiting for your college hoops plays tomorrow especially Arizona/Oregon even if its just your opinion.

Having just returned from the Rose Bowl, here are my two cents:

This was an obvious coching mis-match from the very beginning. If Washington State was playing for the National Championship, the outcome would have been the same. The Oklahoma Defense was swarming the football and at times seemed to have 13 or 14 guys playing on defense. It was another masterful job by the Stoops Brothers. The OU offense continued to play at the same level it has all year and put up plenty of points for the defense to get the job done.

In response to everyone questioning OU's letdowns against OSU and Texas A+M, I think it is important to remember that we are talking about 18-21 year old kids. In the Big 12 south (4-0 in bowls) there are no off weeks and the schedule is grueling. When you ask these young men to play at their peak every week for 12 weeks, it is virtually impossible to do. Add to the fact they are number one in the country and everyone is gunning for them.
I will be very suprised if a Big 12 team can go undefeated in the near future.

I think the way OU played yesterday is more proof why there should be a college playoff. The clearly played yesterday like one od the top 2-3 teams in the country.
