Gonna stick to my guns though.... 4 days now with no action what so ever. Not too shabby with the World Series going on and College Football on every damn night on ESPN or ESPN2. Pretty sad to think 4 days just might be the most I've gone without throwing down even a small bet on something.

Haven't made a wager since Oct 26th. I'm officially jonesin to get back in the action. NFL Playoffs coming up and the Bowl Season is upon us. Christmas Eve at 4pm I offically start a 2 week vacation. The Break has been wonderful, but thinking hard about caping NFL playoffs and Bowl season Only then breaking again.

I fucked up and started A bryant. Got busy at work and didnt get a chance to switch it. I have a 22 point lead and he has Q. Ganther going tonight on MNF

Go for it Mully. You're on vacation and that's something you enjoy doing. You quit when you wanted so play a few and have fun!

I quit about 2 years ago, and do not regret it one bit. I've only played with free accounts and betting the occasional drunken bet with buddies, but that's it. I had to give it up because I could not devote the time to capping, and I tired of the Saturdays of up early crunching numbers, watching the ticker all day, and firing at the Hawaii game to make up ground at 2 AM.

Once I gave up my website, and stopped betting with my families future $$, I actually got back to where I enjoyed sport for the sport of it. I never could before that, unless I had money on it.

Gambling made me a worse person. That's just me. Amazing how much life you can get back when not cluttered with bets, capping, and games ALL the time. Congrats to those who can do it, I just can't, and no longer want to. I've found a lot of other things to do, and really don't miss it at all.

Cheers to you, and best of luck. TOUGH time of year to try to quit though. After the Super Bowl is a great time to do it, I think, or after Bowl season.
