shaq on one day's rest has always been less effective; think back to last year when he had his best games vs deet: game 1 and when they had 3 days off (game 3 or 4 I forget) he went crazy--the rest he couldnt ... shaq played well but doubt he repeats ... wade might be confused at moment ... like deet to win again ...

Pistons are truly rugged when they have game face on--hope they win it all again, as a purist I really appreciate all they stand for

sifting thru the box scores of the 4 games these teams have played, the 4q totals have been, 39, 37, 31, and 30 tonight :mj18: ....

wade is 14-48 in the 3 losses = 29% (about what Kobe managed LY, coincidence? :shocked:

and 12-18 in their lone win when deet collapsed in 4q, 22-9.

none of the games have even threatened O175

i will either play detroit or pass. i have them for the series and i have nice payday at plus 850 if they can win in five games. tnt would like to see good series and not sure if that will play a factor or not. i may play a small play on pistons winning in 4 games. if they win tomorrow miami may be swept.

I imagine NBC wanted to see a good finals in 2004 but it didnt happen ... and NBC has more money than TNT ... anyway, I dont believe in conspiracies, ref cheating (altho at stretches they might favor a team by mathematical coincidence) ... I don't see Deet thinking, "Hmm, maybe we wont try hard and let Heat tie this up."

Not giving you guff, Lowell, just how I feel about competitors and angles for teams and leagues to "allow" a close series. Sports are comprised of runs, MO, streaks, and fortunate bounces; BUT excellence is always the most powerful constant and will beat luck every time.
