i dont see how this is called for. he's a young kid and this could ruin his career and possibly his life.

for what he makes, he should be able to throw strikes......yes houston should've won the game long before he came in.....but this is the bigs and if this ruins him then he wasn't meant to be here anyway.

It wasn't an impossible situation. It was a difficult one. There is a big difference. We all lose bets all the time. Nature of the business. I'm not a sore loser and this game sure as hell won't break me. But I really don't care if he gave it his all, because if his all is not finding the strike zone than he shouldn't be on a big league roster.
Maybe I do feel a little bad for him, but he's making big bucks to throw strikes. I don't care if he gets hit, but theres zero excuse for walking batters in that spot.

i think i draw the line at calling him an "ape" and insinuating he should kill himself.

I didn't call anyone an ape, nor did I ever insuate he kill himself. You have me confused cause I wouldn't say that.

As critical as this must win game is for the Astros......why didn't they send in a starter in the top of the inning like the Sox are doing right now??
