Indiana Pacers @ Detroit Pistons

The Indiana Pacers were tied for the best road record in the league (27-14) during the regular season and we expect them to keep it close enough to cover tonight in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Following a Game 1 victory Indiana shot horribly in Game 2 yet only lost by five points. The Pacers' 67 points, 27.5% shooting and eight assists all were the lowest playoff totals in franchise history. They will be embarrassed by the Pistons near-record 19 blocked shorts and have made some screening, spacing and ball movement adjustments that should get them more open looks. Expect much-improved performances from Jermaine O'Neal and Ron Artest who were both very disappointing in Game 2.

The Pacers are 3-2 SU on the road in this year's playoffs and tonight we need them to win SU, or lose by four points or less.

The Pistons set themselves for a huge effort last time out following Rasheed Wallace's "We will win Game 2" guarantee. The satisfaction gained by fulfilling that much-hyped guarantee, taking home court advantage away from the Pacers and then returning to the Palace has the potential to lead to a slight let-down tonight.

Indiana are 10-4 ATS this season following a upset loss as a favorite and we expect them to bounce back strong tonight in a game that should go right down to the final buzzer.
