as much as i love the lakers,in this game, stern will be sure and control this outcome with his crooked refs, gotta go with celts ml:0074 .......it sucks that the nba is like this, for many years now!!:box2:

How do ya know they will be behind the Celts tonight? They might wait til game 5 and 6 to put the whammy on. :0002

Yes, we all know that David Stern is the one who controls how long the Finals last, not the teams themselves. :mj07:

I guess he must have been asleep last year when the Lakers won in 5 games. Or 3 years ago when the Spurs SWEPT the Cavs. Is he only motivated by money on even-numbered years? :shrug:

Or how about the fact that since he took over in 1984, there have only been FOUR NBA FINALS that went 7 games. So that's, what, four Finals in 26 years that went 7 games since he became Commissioner? And ironically enough, in the 38 years prior to him being Commissioner, there were 12 series that went 7 games.

Really don't where people get the idea that Stern is trying to extend series as long as possible, but the facts prove that theory to be wrong.
