not been waging since game one just enjoying the rest of the series...

i?m a big yankee fan, with a lot of respect to phillies fans and team...

just couldn't believe almost all this forum took for granted that phillies had no match with the yanks...they were gonna repeat their crown, etc, etc...

well is 3-1 my friends and still is NOT over...bol to everyone...

i think phillies take this one out tonight...

Spartano i?m very happy right now for you hermano....

Well the debate today is should AJ start today on 3 days rest, Girardi had already made up his mind.
His numbers on 3 days rest are very good so that's why he will be starting tonight.
The key for the Phils is to get of to a fast start and get some runs early.
The question is can the Yanks get anything of Lee.
Jeter did have 3 hits out of 6 that Lee gave up.
It's all up to how AJ pitches tonight and if his curveball has that bite.
One more thing Pettite on 3 days rest doesn't have good numbers so the Yanks might want to finish it tonight, we'll see.
Thanks for the well wishes Nino hope tonight is a good game :toast:

Spartan, good points. I know Franseca and others are screaming to pitch Gaudin. I may be wrong, but feel that is a defeatist attitude. To me it's like saying we (Yankees) just plain concede when Lee is on the mound. I understand the 3 day rest thing as a former minor league wannabe, but I wouldn't want to let that type of attitude anywhere close to my clubhouse. The only thing I worry about, is this is the highest rate World Series in a long time. Can money get in the way?

As a non-conspiraacy guy, I think not with all the troubles baseball has had.

If the Yanks had anothere strong lefty I could see him starting tonight, but Gaudin is a righty and the Phils are lefty heavy. The top of the line-up has to hit Lee because the bottom probably will struggle.
Good luck Wolf I hope the Yanks bring it home for you, I hear there's a parade to take place in the Big Apple ;)
