Ok, writing this in small text, don't want to show off just saying that i have picked the right side in every game this WS (5-0), haven't bet the sides though, only in game 2 (GOY).
3-2 to Florida in the series and a chance f?r them to wrap it up Saturday. Will they do it ?
:director: NO
All 'bout Florida destined to win and all, i don't buy it. Lets face it what have they done, they have won 3 games 2 with Wells as the starter and 1 with Clemens as the starter. They have scored runs against them and some guys in the bullpen. Which two starters do they face in game 6 and 7 ? Pettite and Clemens, add to that a well rested Rivera and Marlins will have a lot of trouble scoring runs in New York.
Floridas numbers against these Yankee pitchers in the WS:
Pettite 8 2/3 IP 7K 6H 0ER
Mussina 7 IP 9K 7H 1 ER
Rivera 2 IP 2K 1H 0ER
Thats a combined
17 2/3IP 18K 14H 1ER
Take into account that we're talking about a game 6 and 7 in the WS at Yankee Stadium and the advantage is even bigger for Yankees.
Yankees will win game 6 that's as close to a lock you'll get. It doesn't matter if people think the odds on Florida are good...they just won't win this one. ABSOLUTELY NO WAY.
I think Yankees will get to Beckett early, and score 6-7 runs in the game. If not, Pettite and Rivera should hold Marlins to 2 runs.
I just can't understand the reasoning behind taking Florida in game 6, if Florida wins WS it will be in game 7 not in game 6.
Yankees will win World Series
Game 6:
