i agree, umps made a few bad strike calls....but boston did nothing to win this game
team captain, varitek, had one hell of a series and showed no reason to have that C on his jersey, he was 1-20 in alcs:mj07:

That right there is WHY this experienced veteran team lost. Lack of bats. Plain and simple. A hit here or there with all those men on, and I may have been crying about game 5 alot more.

Big Papi is a bum.

How can you say that?? Oh yeah you must have had Boston tonight.

In case you forgot... 2 World Series Rings and a ton of key regular and postseason hits just to name a few of his accolades.

But that's right he is a bum... Were you calling him a bum in Game 5, 7th inning when he hit a 3 run home run that propelled the rally?

Or yesterday when he blasted a pitch from Shields down the 1st base line?

Bums are people without homes, people that eat out of dumpsters, people that loiter and panhandle.

If David Ortiz is a bum, then he is a RICH ASS BUM
