Think the line has been dropping all day. Got this early this morning.

Hate not taking St Louis at home considering their home record. Suppan (The ex Red Soxer) does not impress me that much. I think this game goes to the wire with better pitching racking up the W!

Yep.... lots of ASTROS (Clemens) action coming in on this one. I have the CARDS +140 on a series bet, and wish I had hedged it last nite when I could have gotten +115. Now I'm kinda torn... like you, I like CLEMENS and the HOU pitching situation, but it's hard to go against STL at home.

Here's what I think it comes down to:

1) Clemens must go at least six, with possibly OSWALT on 3 days rest going two.
2) STROS must hit SUPPAN hard and early. STL is not as bad off as HOU in the BP imo. MARQUIS, although he hasn't done much, could be used on 3 days rest if needed.
3)Take the crowd out of the game. IF HOU is able to get a 2-3 run lead and CLEMENS is on, crowd will not be a factor.

HOU BP is in bad shape I think. There two best relievers, WHEELER and LIDGE went 2 & 3 innings respectively last nite, and I'm not sure if either could be used much tonite, or if used, be very effective. STL has MARQUIS, KLINE, and ELDRED if needed, and are probably gonna be without ISRINGHAUSEN who went 3 innings last nite, but that may not be a bad thing...

If it's a shootout, I like STL and OVER. If the ROCKET is firing, it looks to be HOU and Under.

We shall see.... may just watch and enjoy! :SIB
