Easy there Anders, or all the minions will crawl out and threaten you for bashing Scott. :)

1. Congrats on your win.

2. Other than feeling happy for the 5k, do you also feel like you left another 3k at the window so to speak. Risking almost nine dimes to just win five instead of eight.

3. How is your hangover? :mj14:

Answer - Vick cant pass so good.

Thanks edludes, your the last person I would expect to come in here.

This year is the most money I have ever won wagering on sports.

I will now play 50 to 100 dollar games again, until the NFL playoffs. I love betting NFL playoffs because you always get both teams putting out their best efforts and playing all players available.

I dont usually do so good with college bowl games so I will probably stay away from them.

It was nice being able to just post my thoughts and not have bashers coming in and out.
I think it helped me focus on the money.

I find it quite funny that the self proclaimed King of Dogs is having.....

The Game Of My Life.

And.... the King of Dogs isnt playing a underdog, its a favorite.

And... hes not even laying the points with the favorite.

And... hes playing a favorite moneyline.

I will tell you something that I have never told anyone in here and that is how King of Dogs came about. It has nothing to do with gambling or playing dog plays and all that.

I have 2 young Presa Canario dogs that I keep on a property I have along with a rotty. They were all three about 1 or 2 years old at the time. The Presas come from the Canary Islands and look like the one in my avatar. Fearless dogs cost about 1400 ea.

They are fighting dogs and difficult to control. They are very hard headed and if you arnt prepared to kick their ass then dont get one because they think they are boss.

Anyway, I had been working with them for about a month on voice commands and they are all three pretty smart dogs.

So one day my wife came into the shop and all the dogs were in there with me. They jumped up as she walked in and I yelled stay. And they all three sat down at the same time.

My wife said to me ...Who are you, King of Dogs.

Game Summary

The Falcons were definately affected by the cold weather. They were off their game almost completely. Brian Urlacher is some kind of a Linebacker. The Bears defense played exceptionally well and the game was won at the line of scrimmage. Warrick Dunn did have a few break away plays but overall as expected he was stuffed in the backfield many times or for short gains.

Vick just could not get it together. If you stop the run and rush him there is not much he can do. Lets face it, Vick is a superior athlete and I give him that much. But the Falcons cannot be happy with him at this stage of his career. There is no way they can draft and fill all the holes on defense and the Offensive line to be much better next year.

The Bears Secondary did not get under much fire because Vick was rushed so much they just stayed back and played the ball.

Grossman coming in at half time was the clincher. Not that the Bears wouldnt have won the game, but it was time. Give Lovie alot of credit for making that tough decision.

Man luck was with me in this game. I will not deny it. The Bears got many bounces their way in this game. I embrace the luck. Everything happens for a reason.

Next week Falcons at Tampa Bay. It is a no play for me. I can already tell.

Got to look ahead though. Big plays on the horizon.

I know what you are saying. I honestly think the reason that so many gamblers lose over the course of time is that they like to make their wagers one way. They are chalk players, dog players, total players, under over, half time players etc etc.

For instance Sun as a example. He stated one time that he would never lay that much chalk on a game we were talking about. I would if it was a winning play. I have won many like that.

To me falling into the one way playing is the downfall of many gamblers. It limits your options.

I made the same mistake early on and I would just play chalk. Thats why Bobby yaks at me about favs like he does.

I learned to be much more patient and pick my spots when I would play chalk but not do it exclusively. Thats when you get burned.

I will make any wager where I have done the work, and believe in the play as winning me the cash.

I dont look at it at all that I left 3 grand on the table.

My total objective and focus was to win the
5k . Thats all I cared about. Playing the moneyline was a risk but it took away the backdoor cover, which has burned me so many times over the years.

Now I can play with the books money.

Great call Scott, but it's time to move on, no? I mean, everyone and their brother has given you props...How bout next week?
.........................................................

I may not play a game next week.

This is the way I post. Its the way I win. Its the way I wind down from a play, putting my thoughts in here.

My threads like this have a beginning , a middle and then the end.

I do it the same way every time.

Sorry if it bothers you but I really dont give two shits.

People are never satisfied no matter what we do.

Had a friend that raised Presas. The local law enforcement outlawed them. So he had to get rid of them.
Now he raises african boerboel dogs. They are beautiful !!
